The Polaroid Pogo is quite simply the nicest little mobile photo printer on the market today. So easy to use and at a great price.

In the picture-printing demo video (on the left), you can see how tiny the Pogo is in comparison to an old-fashioned printer. With a printer that fits in your pocket, you'll find life's got some new possibilities.

What Is Zink And How Does It Work?

Zink is short for Zero Ink. It’s Polaroid’s special photo paper that has the dye crystals embedded right in the paper: so, in short, the Pogo doesn’t ever need ink cartridges. This is what allows the Pogo to be so small. The actual Zink pictures are wallet-sized, 2″ x 3″, and, I think they look great.

The prints are smudge, tear, and water-resistant. The backing of the print is “peel-and-stick”; so, the kids can have fun using them like stickers.

The heat created by a Zink device activates the color crystals allowing replication of any color in the rainbow.

You can buy packs of Zink paper in packages of 10 sheets, 30 sheets, or 60 sheets. I saw a good deal at Amazon where you can get 30 sheets for $12.99 . And, I just discovered an even better deal at Amazon where you can get 60 sheets of Zink for $19.99 (at the moment…the 60 packs are sold out; but, 30 packs are available.) I’d say that’s still pretty reasonable.
